We wanted to let you know that this past week we have experienced some delays to SYD.
The reason is a volcanic eruption causing a high level ash cloud en-route, so in order to divert around the affected area, we have had to take on more fuel – and as a result the cargo payload has been reduced.
We've been able to move some mail and we are starting to return to normal now, but capacity is still limited due to the backlogs with all the other cargo products.
Apologies for this disruption to the service and please be assured we are working hard to minimise the effect it has on you.
